Kumkum Bhagya is an Indian romantic, emotional drama serial. It was premiered on 15 April 2014 on Zee TV. It is a Hindi language serial. It is a story of two sisters Pragya and Bulbul where as their mother Sarla wanted to get married her daughters in a noble family. It is a whole story of two sisters and their journey towards their future life, their love story and a lot of twists and turns.

Kumkum Bhagya is produced by Ekta Kapoor under the project of Balaji Telefilms. The director of Kumkum Bhagya is Rawindra Gautam. It is presented on Zee TV channel and also digitally available on Zee 5.

Storyline

Sarla ran a marriage hall and has desire to see her daughters to be married. Pragya married to a rock star Abhishek Mehra while Bulbul married to Abhi’s friend Purab. Sadly Bulbul died leaving Purab heartbroken. While on the other hand Abhi  accused Pragya for his grandmother’s death and they get separated. After 7 years Pragya had a daughter with Abhi named as Kaira. She lived with King Singh in London. Later she came to Indian and cause reunion of Abhi and Pragya. Pragya gave birth to twins named as Prachi and Rhea. Kaira was killed by enemies. Abhi and Pragya accused one another for her death and decided to part their ways away. One of the twins taken by Abhi while other by  Pragya.

After 20 years Prachi and Rhea grown up and fell in love with Abhi’s friend’s son Ranbir. Ranbir was a charming boy in the college. Prachi was sweet, kind hearted and simple like her mother Pragya while Rhea was arrogant, bold and short tempered like her aunt Alia. After sometime Prachi and Ranbir got married . Pragya was assumed to be dead due to her disappearance after an accident.

After 2 years Pragya retuned to take revenge of her accident. She misunderstand that Abhi was involved in her murder attempt with Tanu and Alia. She lived in his house while Rhea get married to Sidharth. Prachi and Ranbir were living a happy married life. After that Abhi and Pragya clear their misunderstandings and reunite again. They met an accident and went to comma. While Ranbir accused Prachi to involve in extramarital affair with Sidharth by misunderstanding create by Rhea. They get separated.

Rhea got divorce from Sidharth. While Prachi was dishearten and sad. Pragya’s mentor console her and  asked her to move on to focus on her career. Then Prachi came to know that she is pregnant with Ranbir’s child. Rhea illegally got married with Ranbir assuming that Prachi has moved on to her life. Prachi came to Ranbir’s house to fight for her rights and self esteem. He also decided to prove her as a legal wife of Ranbir and throw Rhea out of his house.

Conclusion 

Kumkum Bhagya is romantic, entertaining, tragic and emotional drama In Apne TV. It is full of fun and twists. There would be more entertainment in the upcoming story. It is a good family drama to watch.
